How do you define what qualifies as a qualified meeting?

A qualified meeting is someone who meets the specific criteria you define upfront, verified through a phone conversation before we book them into your calendar. We work with you to establish what "qualified" actually means for your business, give those criteria to our reps, and they screen every prospect against it before scheduling. This means you spend your time in calls with actual prospects, not tire-kickers or wrong-fit companies.
Why Pre-Defined Criteria Matter
Without clear criteria, "qualified" is whatever your SDR thinks it means. Our rep might assume a meeting is qualified because someone picked up the phone. Your sales team thinks it's qualified because they're in the right industry. Three weeks later, the prospect wasn't actually hiring and you've wasted $2,000+ in fully-loaded sales time.
We flip that. You tell us exactly what qualified looks like, we operationalize it with our team, and every single prospect gets vetted against it before your calendar gets touched.
What Goes Into Your Criteria
Your qualified meeting criteria is built from your ideal customer profile. We typically look at 3-5 core elements:
First, the right buyer. Are we talking to a VP of Sales, Sales Director, or frontline manager? Or all three? You define this.
Second, the right company size. Maybe you only close deals with companies doing $5M-$50M in annual revenue. Maybe it's enterprise-only. Tell us and we'll screen for it.
Third, the right industry. If you sell logistics software, you need logistics companies, not hospitality. We verify this on the call.
Fourth, an active business need. This is where our reps earn their money. They don't just confirm job titles from LinkedIn. They ask, "What's the biggest challenge your team is facing this quarter?" If the prospect has a real problem you solve, they move forward. If not, we don't book the call.
Some clients add a fifth element: minimum budget or specific pain points. The more specific you are, the higher the quality of meetings you receive.
How Our Reps Qualify
When our rep connects with a prospect, they're not selling. They're qualifying. They work through your criteria in a natural conversation, listening for the signals that matter.
If the prospect ticks all the boxes and reveals an active need, our rep asks, "Would it make sense to spend 30 minutes next week with my client to explore this?" When they say yes, we pull up your calendar and book the meeting.
If the prospect doesn't meet your criteria, or admits they're not actively looking to change vendors, we politely end the call and move to the next prospect. No forced booking. No inflated numbers. Just qualified meetings.
The Real Benefit
You get predictability. Instead of 1 in 10 meetings actually being qualified, you know that if it's booked with us, it meets your bar. Your sales team can focus on selling, not qualifying on the call. And when you look at your closed deals downstream, you'll see a high percentage came from this channel because the upfront screening was tight.
