How do SDRs need to declare to work for you? What type of form?

We work with SDRs through 1099 independent contractor agreements that outline our terms of service, quality standards, and representation requirements. We exclusively hire experienced B2B professionals who've worked at reputable corporate companies. This approach lets us maintain consistent quality while managing legal and compliance risk.

What Does the 1099 Agreement Cover?

The 1099 contract is straightforward and covers the essentials. It specifies the work scope (outbound prospecting and qualification calls), our payment structure (we pay per qualified meeting booked), and the standards we expect from representation. You're agreeing to follow our messaging guidelines, qualification criteria, and that you'll represent yourself and Glencoco professionally. The agreement also includes confidentiality clauses around prospect data and our processes.

Why We Use 1099 Contracts

The independent contractor model works well for both sides. It gives SDRs flexibility to work their own hours and potentially take on other clients or projects (as long as there's no conflict). For us, it means we can scale quickly without the overhead of W2 employment, benefits, and payroll infrastructure. It also creates clear boundaries around what we expect and what SDRs are responsible for.

Experience Requirements We Enforce

We don't work with entry-level cold callers or recent grads trying to build their first sales resume. Our SDRs have 2+ years of B2B prospecting experience from established companies in industries like SaaS, enterprise software, financial services, or managed services. This background matters because experienced SDRs already understand discovery, don't oversell, and know how to qualify early.

When we review candidates, we're looking for people who've worked at companies with real sales processes and training. That corporate background means you understand CRM discipline, compliance basics, and how professional decision-makers expect to be approached. It also reduces our legal risk around representation and compliance.

Quality Standards and Representation

Every SDR we onboard agrees to represent Glencoco accurately and professionally. That means no misrepresentation about our service, no deceptive tactics, and no messaging that contradicts what our sales team later tells prospects. We provide messaging frameworks and scripts, but the expectation is that you're a professional extending our brand, not running your own playbook.

We also include language around prospect data handling. Prospects share information with you because they trust us, so that data stays confidential and isn't used for other purposes. If an SDR violates these standards, we have grounds to terminate the contract and (if necessary) pursue damages.

The Practical Setup

Once you sign the 1099 agreement, you'll get access to our CRM, prospect lists, and the daily call flow. You'll be trained on our qualification framework and messaging. We track metrics like meetings booked, show rates, and deal velocity so we can measure quality. We only pay you when a prospect books a meeting and attends, so there's mutual accountability—we want to make sure you're sending us real opportunities, and you benefit when you book qualified meetings.

The whole agreement is designed to be simple and fair: you get paid only when you deliver results, you maintain professional standards, and we have clarity around what we're paying for.
